Yes, we are open! A note to our patients regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
First and foremost, your health and safety are our primary concern.
You may have questions and concerns about Coronavirus as it relates to visiting our practice. Unless we are mandated by the government to cease offering routine chiropractic care, we will remain open during our regular business hours to serve your chiropractic needs. We want you to know that we have always followed the strictest safety protocols. We always have, and we will continue to be vigilant about protecting your health. During this situation we have heightened our already stringent health standards.
“Spinal adjustments have been shown to boost immune function because they serve to correct the spinal misalignments that cause neural dysfunction. Neural dysfunction stresses a body out, which may lead to a weakened immune system and lowered response to a foreign body, such as [a] virus.”1 With this in mind, we encourage you to keep your appointment time. In fact, if you have a friend, co-worker, or family member who is not an established patient in our practice, we will be happy to assist them as well!
In order to best protect you and our team members, if you have
- ANY signs of a contagious illness please call our office before your appointment, or
- A fever of 100° or higher, please call the office and reschedule your appointment.
If you would like to skip our reception area and be escorted from our front door directly into your treatment room, please call when you pull in and wait in your car. We will notify you when the doctor is ready to see you.
If you choose to cancel an appointment, please help us best serve other patients by letting us know as soon as possible. Anticipating that we will be busier than normal as the weather improves and the virus runs its course, if you choose to cancel, please consider rescheduling while on the phone, in order to avoid further delaying your care.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 260.338.1700. We wish you and your loved ones health and safety, and those who have been directly affected by the virus, a speedy and complete recovery.

1 “Why Chiropractic Care Is Good for Your Immune System.” ChiroHealthUSA, 8 Apr. 2019, www.chirohealthusa.com/patients/why-chiropractic-care-is-good-for-your-immune-system/.
J Chiropractic Research 1989 (Summer); 5: 101–103
This 1989 study compared the health of two hundred children under chiropractic care and two hundred children under medical care. The chiropractic children had fewer ear infections, fewer allergies, fewer cases of tonsillitis, and needed less medical treatment (antibiotics and other medications). The authors noted that there is a “definite correlation between chiropractic care and superior health.” In fact, this study “has shown that children raised under chiropractic care are less prone to infectious processes such as otitis media and tonsillitis, and that their immune systems are better able to cope with allergens such as pollen, weeds, grasses, etc. compared to children raised under allopathic care. There is also a significant decreased history of antibiotic use among the ‘Chiropractic’ children, indicating a lower susceptibility to bacterial infections as a result of their greater immune system response.”
